Commission a Song
If you need a catchy song for your company, your special event, a jingle for the radio or to promote a product/service, I can write you a winning one that people will sit up and take notice of! Kids are my specialty of course but adults love my songs too.
After we discuss your requirements, the information you’d like to get across, check out any pictures that might inspire me, discuss words or phrases you’d like included, I’ll get to work. You are kept up to date on progress and I’ll email you lyrics/melody as I come up with them.

“Thank you for your enthusiastic songwriting workshop – very inspiring. I now feel confident enough to make songs up on the spot!” Student, Te Rito Maioha, Nelson
“Love your stuff Kath. You seem to know just how to grab the kids attention whilst still making it fun for us adults. Your songs are interesting, relevant to kids and often a bit crazy/naughty.” Chris Hall

How about your own School Song?
Wouldn’t it be great to have your own school song? Can you imagine how proud your students would be while singing about themselves and their school?
I can do that for you! I spend time at your school getting a ‘feel’ for the atmosphere, talking to staff and students and collecting ideas. I compose the lyrics using your Mission Statement, ideas from staff and students and include things that are particularly important to your school.
It brings you together as a school and instils your goals and values in a fun, uplifting way.
I have written songs for many schools and ECCs around NZ.
The Seymour Kindy Song
We were looking for our own Kindy song, a song that would celebrate us coming together as a community of learners that work and care for each other like a family.
We gave Kath Bee a call and arranged a time to meet with her. Soon she was at our kindy in Blenheim having a look around and learning about our values and what makes us unique.
Within 3 hours of leaving to head back to Nelson, Kath had emailed me a few verses to the song to look over!
Within days, our kindy song was complete and the teachers, children and their families LOVE it!
Within two weeks we had a CD arrive with our kindy song – Seymour Kids – sung by Kath and performed by her backing band!
Watch the kids at Seymour Kindy enjoying their OWN song!”
